Thousands of Local Organizations have lost Tax-Exempt status

Thousands of Non-Profit Organizations across the country have lost their Tax-Exempt status from the IRS as of June/July 2011.
This has directly impacted thousands of well-known local community organizations in Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, South End and on into the suburbs of Brockton, Lawrence, Lynn, Springfield, etc.
