Feed the Hood / Fill Your Fridge Program Update
By jake on January 22, 2013
The Feed the Hood / Fill Your Fridge Programs have recently gotten a boost of support in the form of generous food donations from Trader Joes. So far we have been able to distribute two large shipments of high quality food stuffs including fresh produce, meat, fish, bread, canned goods, frozen meals and baked goods to stock fridges of shelters and families in need. Below are videos to provide not only transparency, but also a model that we hope others will duplicate in their own communities. We would like to thank Trader Joes and our army of volunteers including members of the Occupy the Hood Boston Coalition, Voices of Liberation (VOL) / Scope Urban Apparel and United Sistas of Color (USOC).
